Summer Vibes with Christy

Hey friends, it’s Christy here to share another card using the brand new Sun, Sand, and Surf Kits that were recently released. I have been having so much fun with these beachy, vacation-themed products! I’ve already made six cards with them, and I just don’t want to stop! I absolutely love Summer, so they’ve hit me right in the heart. I love it all! For this card, I started by stamping out the tubing tiger and panda from Beach Bums, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.

Next, I put together the Big Wave Scene die using both white and two shades of aqua colored cardstock. This die works just like a puzzle. It’s so much fun to put together! I added a few Copic colored elements as well, to bring the scene to life. For my sentiment, I cut the Hello Summer Words die out of orange cardstock, only using the word “summer,” and stamped the rest of the sentiment in black ink. Then I glued on my images to finish it off.

I don’t have a video tutorial for this card, but I did create a similar Surf’s Up Video for Previews putting together the background and using the same sentiment dies. Most of the products from today’s card are from the Expanded Kit, which is sold out, but as of when I’m writing this, there are still a few of the Classic Kits and some of the Add-ons available.
