(VIDEO) Penguins on Ice with Christy

Hello friends, it’s Christy here with a fun and frosty scene starring Penguins on Ice. I love these little guys and they are so quick and easy to color! Which makes them the perfect subject when you’re trying out a brand-new technique, or should I say, brand-new to me. I’ve been wanting to try the reflection technique for so many years, and for some reason I’ve chickened out every time. But this time I determined I was going to give it a go. For example, take this little sleeping fawn from Sweet Dreams. It’s meant to be a baby themed set, but by combining it with autumnal images from other stamp sets, I was able to...

Hello friends! It’s Christy here with a card using our adorable new Life is but a Dream stamp set. I just love these adventurous cuties so much! They make such fabulous lake or river scenes, perfect for masculine cards for the guys in our lives. I colored all the images with Copic markers, giving the canoe and oars a fun and easy block pattern. Then I trimmed the images out with their coordinating dies. Next I wanted to challenge myself to use the North Fork Slimline Scene on a standard A2 size card. I love that this die is so versatile...
