Winter friends with Franci

Hi there!It’s Franci here with you today, with a fun winter card featuring the adorable Skating Party set. These little critters having hot chocolate together are so cute! First of all I stamped them, colored them with copics and die cut them with their coordinated dies, then I created my cardbase out of white cardstock and inked the front with Distress oxide inks. Hello Bluebird has a wonderful selection of Alpha die sets so I thought it would be fun to create a typographic style birthday card to showcase them together. I began by die cutting white card letters for ‘Happy Birthday’ from each of the following alpha sets: Charlie Large Outline AlphaKnightley LC Large AlphaJane Small AlphaOliver AlphaCharlie Alpha I layered two of the letter die cuts for dimension, then put them aside to work on my background.
