Thinking of You with Gemma

As I made this card, it was snowing outside. I must have been dreaming of spring sunshine and flowers! I stamped lots of flowers from the Hello Bluebird Wildflower Bouquet stamp set. Once the ink was dry, I stamped the second layer with WOW embossing ink and embossed with WOW Metallic Copper embossing powder. On the leaves, I added some WOW Metallic Silver embossing powder. I die cut a couple of tags from the Hello Bluebird Stitched Tag Builder die set. From one of these, I die cut the rectangle stitched window. I added some light blue ink to...

“A Special Easter” card with Franci

Hello there!  Franci here with you today with a sweet Easter card feat the Easter Egg Hunt set. First of all I created my card base out of white cardstock and I gently inked up the front with a light blue ink to create my sky. I also die cut 2 grassy hills using the Grassy Knoll set and I colored them with different shades of green, then I die cut a little cloud corner with the same set. I stamped, colored and die cut all the images and added little details here and there with a white gel...

Pig Day by Suzy Plantamura

Hi Hello Bluebird friends! I’m new here, so I hope you enjoy my very first HB blog post! I’ve used the Pig Day Stamp and Pig Day Die to make a slim-line card (inspired by my good friend Nicky who makes the best ones out there!). I cut a second one and die-cut the Hill and Dale Die along the edge twice to reach the full length of the piece. I did that a second time with...

You are my Rainbow by Amy Kolling

Hello friends!  Amy here today sharing a rainbow inspired card using the Rainbow Sky Die and the Rainbow Script Stamps. I started the card off by ink blending some gray ink onto my top folding notecard using a cloud stencil.  I only needed to do a small area of my notecard because it was going behind my front raised panels.  I created my rainbow using pink, orange,  yellow, green, and turquoise cardstocks.  To make the rainbow easier to assemble, I created a small template that I covered in adhesive.  This made it easy to inlay each piece of the...

Hang In There with Eloise Blue

Hello friends, Eloise here today with a simple ‘Hang In There’ card using the Wildflower Bouquet Stamp Set along with the Typed Everyday Set as well. I started off with stamping the images using coloured inks first and cut them out using the coordinating dies. I used the detail images to stamp over the top with darker shades of ink and also added details with Copic Markers. Once they were all stamped and coloured, I arranged them in a bouquet and picked them all up with a piece of Press N Seal. (Altenew Inks – Peach Perfect, Caramel Toffee...
