Sweet Friend with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a card made with the Strawberry Basket die set and Sweet Friend Words. I decided to make a background pattern with the strawberries. I die cut the strawberries, leaves and large flowers from some gel plate prints I made a while ago. I used distress oxides to create these. I’ll list the colours I used below. As the prints were a thinner paper, I adhered each one to a thicker white card die cut, for stability. Behind the strawberries, I added some dark brown card, to show through the holes as seeds. Nine Lives with Amy

Hello, hello! Amy here and now that summer is drawing to a close my crafty endeavors are taking a decidedly more autumnal turn. Ultimately I fell in love with this happy ghost from the Ghostly Greetings set and knew that I had a purrr-fect pairing. I chose...

(VIDEO) Little Hugs with Christy

Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a sweet square card featuring our Little Hugs stamp set. I adore these sweet mama (or daddy) and baby critter pairs! Aren’t they just super darling? I chose four of them to feature on the front of my card, which left one for the inside. I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies. For the background, I used the Gallery Frame #7 as a template to paint a quick and easy watercolor background on Bristol Cardstock using Distress Oxide Inks. I painted on some Salvaged Patina...

Wild about you with Sara

Hi Bluebird Friends, Sara here! Today it’s my turn over the Hello Bluebird Blog and I have a “Wild about you” card to show you, featuring some of the recent released items as well as some previous ones. I wanted to pair the recent Safari Horizontal Scene Die with the older Portrait Pals: I think that the bigger giraffe was perfect to use in a foreground. I also knew that it would have been a love card, so I used the mirror stamping technique to mirror that giraffe and create the couple. I firstly started creating the two giraffes,...
