Sabrina with Gemma

Today I have a Halloween card to share, featuring the new Sabrina stamp set from the September 2023 release.

I began by stamping out the images from the Sabrina stamp set and colouring them with copic markers. I’ll list the colours used at the end of this post.

I cut everything out with the coordinating dies, then put them aside to work on the background.

I found a gold foiled star panel in my stash, so cut this down with the Nesting Deckle A2 die set. Towards the top centre, I die cut a circle using the Nesting Circle die set. I then cut a patterned paper circle the same size, which will be the moon on my card.

I adhered the foiled panel to a piece of purple card stock, then added the die cut patterned paper circle in the space. I then added them to an A2 top folding card base.

For the sentiment, I heat embossed a greeting from the Sabrina stamp set on a piece of the same purple card stock, with WOW Super Fine Opaque Bright White embossing powder. I cut this out with a banner die from my craft stash.

I adhered the images to my background with foam tape. I thought it would be fun to add one of the bats hanging down from the sentiment strip.

I don’t usually decorate the inside of my cards, but there’s a fabulous sentiment included with the Sabrina stamp set, which works so well on the inside. I adhered another circle ‘moon’ inside, then stamped the sentiment on top. I finished by adding some stars from the stamp set around the sentiment.
