Maverick Valentine’s Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Love is in the air today here on the Hello Bluebird blog. I’ve created a Valentine’s Day scene using the fun airplane image from Maverick with a little paper piecing magic. This card is A2 size and I started by stenciling pink clouds over the entire card front. I then splattered it up with thinned pink paint. The greeting is part stamped and part die cut. To Start my card, I made two backgrounds with Distress Oxide Inks…The yellow one is a blending of Squeezed Lemonade and Mustard seed, and the Pink one of Spun sugar and Picked raspberry. I added little water droplets to each one of them and then added splatters of Squeezed Lemonade and picked raspberry diluted with water respectively....
