Cocoa Party by Suzy Plantamura

Today I have a post using the new holiday set called Cocoa Party. I am always a big advocate of getting as much use out of our stamp sets as possible. I decided to use this stamp set for a New Years card with a little creativity for the greeting. I started by die-cutting the Warm Wishes die out of a card size piece of watercolor paper (5.5″ x 4.25″). I left all of the letters in place and adhered it to a card base. I then painted over it with blue, turquoise, and gray blue watercolor using a...

I love it because of the sentiments – the fonts used are so dang cute. Because I am also an illustrator, I really appreciate the quality of the HB drawings and how they mix different fonts together in their sentiments. I couldn’t resist using the new Oak Tree Scene Die with this cute little fox pushing the pumpkin cart. I die-cut it using Fabriano watercolor paper. I like this...

Woodland Littles by Suzy Plantamura

Hello Friends! Today I have a card to share with you using an oldie, but a goodie, Woodland Littles stamp set. This was one of the first stamps I bought when I started my Hello Bluebird obsession (and ended up getting ALL the sets!). I love the little images and wanted to use them in a creative way. I used a technique I use often I call “random stamping background”. I stamp all of the images over a background lining them up like a puzzle using my Misti. I used a light color of ink to stamp them so...
