Autumn Gatherings with Nicky

Hi everyone!  I hope you’ve been enjoying our big August release, I know I’ve had so much fun creating with it all.  My card today features Autumn Gatherings in combination with the Birch Trees Dies. To make this card I started out with an A2 panel of Bristol Smooth watercolour cardstock.  I ink blended it using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink and blended it out so that most of the colour was at the top and sides.  I then took Antique Linen Distress Ink and blended the bottom of the panel and dotted in some texture.   I applied this panel...

Pond Builder and Fishin’ Hole with Nicky

Hi!  I’m excited to share this card today featuring primarily the all new ‘Pond Builder‘ die from the latest release from Hello Bluebird Stamps together with 3 Mallard ducks from the new Fishin’ Hole stamp set.   The Pond Builder die is so useful and a great investment if you like creating water scenes because it makes it so easy!   I have lots of ideas for it going forwards, so stay tuned! Deer Friend With Nicky Meek

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you today, I’m sharing a shaker card I made using the ever so lovely Deer Friend stamp set combined with the Gallery Frame Die #1. I started by ink blending a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar and Mermaid Lagoon.  I then took a panel of white cardstock and die cut it using the Gallery Frame Die #1.  This die separates the outer frame from the inner one so I adhered them back together on the reverse then applied a piece of acetate and finally I...

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you today with my very first blog post for Hello Bluebird and I couldn’t be happier about it!
