Quiet Christmas with Nicky

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you today and I’ve started on my Hello Bluebird Christmas cards by using a stamp set from last Christmas called ‘Quiet Christmas’. I took a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock and trimmed it to A2 size then ink blended it with Distress Ink in Spun Sugar to a fading ombré affect.  I applied it to my card base and then die cut the Gallery Frame 3 Die from white cardstock and used the outer portion of the frame, applying it to my scene popped up on dimensional foam tape. Autumn Gatherings with Nicky

Hi everyone!  I hope you’ve been enjoying our big August release, I know I’ve had so much fun creating with it all.  My card today features Autumn Gatherings in combination with the Birch Trees Dies. Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you today, I’m sharing a shaker card I made using the ever so lovely Deer Friend stamp set combined with the Gallery Frame Die #1. I started by ink blending a panel of Bristol Smooth cardstock using Distress Inks in Cracked Pistachio, Spun Sugar and Mermaid Lagoon.  I then took a panel of white cardstock and die cut it using the Gallery Frame Die #1.  This die separates the outer frame from the inner one so I adhered them back together on the reverse then applied a piece of acetate and finally I...

Just Sayin’ With Nicky Meek

Hello everybody, this is Nicky with you today with my very first blog post for Hello Bluebird and I couldn’t be happier about it! For my first blog project I chose to work with Just Sayin’ from the May release.  I utterly adore these sweet and sincere little characters and the flexibility one has to spell out a plethora of messages using the generous quantity of  mix and match words. My card started with an A2 110lb white cardstock base which I set to one side.  I stamped an A2 panel in my Misti using the Cozy Plaid Background...
