Light Up Fairy Card with Marine

Today I am back with a new light up card featuring cute fairies by Hello Bluebird decorating their Christmas tree. I hope you’ll like it. I started by creating the background using non traditional Christmas colors: shaded lilac and spun sugar. As always, I splattered water on my panel and used a paper towel to dry it and add texture, and to create falling snow I simply splattered white paint on the paper. The images were stamped on neenah solar white cardstock using memento tuxedo black ink and colored using my alcohol markers. Here are the supplies I used: – Fairy...

Little Haunters with Marine

Hi everyone, it’s Marine, back with a spooky -but very cute- scene showcasing the new Little Haunters stamp set. Those little guys are the cutest and I had a lot of fun creating this night scene for them! To start, I cut a bristol panel measuring 6 x 5″, and attached a large circle mask right in the middle of it. And to create my night sky, I first applied tumbled glass oxide ink along the circle mask. Next I applied chipped sapphire oxide ink on the rest of the panel, and blended both colors by making circular moves to accentuate the...
