Two Besties with Marine

Hi everyone, Marine here with a sweet little scene showcasing two adorable friends from my favorite set from the last release: Besties. I first started by stamping all my images on white cardstock using Potting Soil ink by Ranger. I like to use this brown ink when I use Hello Bluebird stamps because I think it goes very well with the style of images. So I stamped and cut everything, and colored the images using my alcohol markers. Like always I used several sets to create my little scene: Besties, Picked for you, Oh nuts, Skating party, Banner buddies...

Meadow Bunnies + Pathway Background with Marine

Hello everyone, Marine here with a cute and happy card featuring a sweet little bunny from the Meadow Bunnies stamp set as well as the Pathway Background stamp. Like always, you will find my video at the end of this post. So I first started by stamping the Pathway Background on white cardstock using an alcohol marker friendly brown ink. Stretch Your Supplies With Marine

Hi there, Marine here with a cute window scene. A few days ago, I shared this card inspired by Canadian landscapes, so today we’re going to zoom into this scene and get a close up at the cabin! I only kept the middle part that I trimmed to get a 2 x 2 square window, and colored it using vintage photo and ground espresso distress inks. To create the wood planks, I...

An African Savannah Safari with Marine

Today’s card features some cuties from the More Jungle Littles stamp set, as well as a few other stamp and die sets that helped me to create this lovely savannah scene. I started by cutting a bristol panel measuring 8,5 x 4,5 inches. I created the sky using a homemade cloud stencil and tumbled glass distress ink. Next I die cut my background elements using the Ocean Scene die, but kept only three pieces to build my scene. I colored the bottom piece using shabby shutters and peeled paint distress inks to get a faded green grass, and colored...

Silly Birds with Marine

Hello there, Marine here with two cute bird friends enjoying life on a lagoon. To create this lovely scene, I started by cutting all the background elements out of bristol cardstock using the Ocean Scene die. Next I colored the different pieces: for the sky I used dried marigold and worn lipstock ; for the clouds I used scattered straw that I lightly applied at the bottom of the element to get some shadows ; for the lagoon I used evergreen bough and lucky clover ; and finally for the ground I used antique linen and vintage photo. I stamped the images on...
