Maverick Card with a Feminine Twist

Greetings Hello Bluebird friends!  Leanne here today.  I have slimline card to share featuring the airplane image from Maverick.  I’ve been playing around with customizing the airplane and wanted to make a very feminine card. I started by stenciling purple and pink fluffy clouds for the sky onto the card front.  I made my own stencil using the cloud border dies from Grassy Knoll.  Just die cut the cloud border from copy paper.  That works just as good as stencil material. I started by creating an ink blended background for the scene using three colors of Distress Oxide Ink – Squeezed Lemonade, Salty Ocean, and Seedless Preserves. I used the Happy Birthday Word dies...

Skating Pond Scene Card with Leanne

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I’ve got a winter themed card to share today that features 3 products from the December release –  Skating Pond Scene Die, Frosty Flakes Dies, and Skating Together stamp set.  These stamps and dies work so well together to give the card a complete winter look from top to bottom. The Skating Pond Scene die makes it so easy to create a background for an A2 card.  I die cut one panel from Bristol Smooth card stock and used some Distress Oxide Inks and a blending sponge to add color...
