Maverick Valentine’s Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! Love is in the air today here on the Hello Bluebird blog. I’ve created a Valentine’s Day scene using the fun airplane image from Maverick with a little paper piecing magic. This card is A2 size and I started by stenciling pink clouds over the entire card front. I then splattered it up with thinned pink paint. The greeting is part stamped and part die cut. I started by preparing the card front with a light blend of Tattered Rose and Candied Apple Distress Oxide Inks.  I gradually blended lighter towards the center to create a spotlight effect.  I also used the same Distress Oxide Ink blend for the die cut Warm Wishes.  I applied...

Snowy Sky Snowball Fight Card with Leanne

Hello everyone! I hope you all have had a chance to shop the new release. There’s so many fun wintertime and holiday stamps plus some fabulous supporting stand alone dies. I have a card to share today that combines both. My card features the absolutely adorable images from Snowball Fight with the Snowy Sky Scene die. I started by die cutting the Snowy Sky Scene which is exactly A2 size. I used white card stock so I could do some ink blending on the sky and snow hills. I then adhered the inked scene pieces onto a white card...
