North Star With Jess

Good morning!  Jess here with a colorful alcohol inked card featuring North Star and parts of the buildable Skating Pond Scene die! I’ve been meaning to try using my copic marker refills for an alcohol inked background and figured a winter night sky would be the perfect opportunity!  I started by covering the paper with a little copic blending solution.  Then I dropped copic marker alcohol ink in RV13, BV00, and BV04 across the panel and pushed it around with an air puffer.  Once the ink was totally dry I splattered it with white gouache and let that dry...

O Holy Night with Jess

Good morning!  Jess here with a simple blended card that packs a powerful Christmas sentiment! I started by blending cracked pistachio distress ink around the bottom of a card panel in a loose ‘u’ shape.  Then I added a little stormy sky distress ink to the top to close off the ‘u.’  I blended black soot above the stormy sky to add a little depth to the background.  I blended them together and then added a tiny bit of broken china around the bottom.  I kept the middle white for my sentiment. I splattered and spritzed the panel with...

Snow Play with Jess

Good morning!  Jess here with a festive Christmas card featuring the adorable penguins from Snow Play! I love the entire Snow Play set but those adorable penguins were just calling my name!  To start I stamped them with versafine, heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder, and colored them with copics before die-cutting them with the coordinating dies!  I added a few accents with a white gel pen and spectrum noir clear sparkle.  I also added a little nuvo crystal glaze to their scarves and hats and sprinkled them with chunky and prisma glitter. Next I masked off a piece...

Joy to the World with Jess

Good morning!  Jess here with a CAS Christmas card to help you get started on those holiday cards! I absolutely adore the cute little mice from Joyful Mouse and thought one of them would be a cute addition to a sentiment-driven card.  I stamped the mouse and santa hat with versafine and heat-embossed them with clear embossing powder before coloring them with copic markers.  I die-cut them with the coordinating dies and then added a few accents with spectrum noir clear sparkle, nuvo crystal glaze, and a white gel pen. While the crystal glaze was drying I worked on...

There’s No Otter Friend Like You with Jess

Good morning!  Jess here with a otter-filled shaker card using products from our July release! To start I stamped the otters and fish from Otter Friends with versamark and heat-embossed it with clear embossing powder.  I watercolored them with my zig markers and then die-cut them with the coordinating dies.  I also added a few accents with a white gel pen.  Next I blended mermaid lagoon, blueprint sketch, and chipped sapphire distress inks onto a piece of bristol smooth cardstock.  I die-cut the Gallery Frame #1 die with white cardstock and with the blended background.  I reserved the white...
