Nine Lives Valentines with Gemma

Today I have a Valentines card to share, featuring the Nine Lives stamp set. These kitties are the cutest. I stamped out two of the kitties from the Nine Lives stamp set, along with a rug from the Cozy Christmas Eve stamp set. I coloured the images with copic markers and used a black fine liner to give the lighter cat a little more of a smile. I die cut all the images with the coordinating dies and added a couple of layers behind the cats for dimension. On an A2 card base, I adhered a piece of patterned...

Official Teenager with Gemma

I’m sure I’m not the only one who finds teenage cards tricky to make, and male teenage cards doubly so! My go-to is typographic cards and Hello Bluebird have a lot of great Alpha die sets. I began by die cutting the centre circle, which will help me plan the spacing for the letters. I used the Nesting Circles set to die cut a circle from a grunge patterned paper. I adhered this to the centre of a square card base. Next, I die cut the letters, using the Jane Small Alpha set. Each letter has 3 layers –...

Candy Cane Lane with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a holiday card with the new Candy Cane Lane die set. I love the large candy cane in this set and it works great as a background pattern. I began by die cutting the candy cane die several times. I adhered the pieces together to make a total of 7 candy canes. Next, I cut a piece of kraft card to 6″ square....

Cup of Cheer with Gemma

Today I have a holiday card to share using the new Cup of Cheer stamp set. I stamped out the images with Rich Cocoa memento ink, then coloured them with copic markers. I then die cut them out with the coordinating dies, adding a couple of layers behind each for dimension. For the background, I cut two pieces of patterned paper and layered them on an A2 card base. I then added some strips of pearlescent gold card. I love the gold and pink colour combo. I stamped a sentiment on to the pink patterned paper. This one can...

December Post with Gemma

It’s only a month until Christmas but there’s still time to work on those Christmas cards. Today I’m sharing a card featuring the new December Post stamp set and Postage Frame die set. I began by die cutting the Postage Frame set from white card. I used a piece of card just big enough to cover the area of the die where there’s a set of 9 stamps. I stamped four images from the December Post stamp set on to the stamps, then coloured them with copic markers. Once done, I used a trimmer to cut through the holes...
