Hashtag Smile with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a card featuring some fabulous new products from the February release – Spring Gatherings and Typed Everyday stamp sets and the Photo Stack stand-alone die set. I began by working on the background, blending some mowed lawn and twisted citron distress oxide inks on to a white card panel. I concentrated the colour at the edges, fading out to white towards the centre.  Using a grass image from the Spring Gatherings stamp set, I stamped it with the twisted citron distress oxide ink around the edges of the panel. Next, I stamped some more images from...

An “Otterly Adorable” card with Franci

Hello there and happy wednesday!    Franci  here with you today with a love/friendship themed card feat the adorable “Otter Friends” set.       First of all I die cut this pretty frame using the “Gallery Frame Die #2” out of white cardstock, I inked it up with some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink, I let it dry completely and then I stamped it with the “Falling Snow Background” stamp.     I think these little reddish dots makes such a difference in style on this little frame 🙂 Then I stamped, colored and die cut this cute...

Birthday Skating Party with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a card I made for my niece’s birthday. She loves animals and pink, so that was the starting point for my card. I think the Skating Party set is perfect for winter birthdays. I also stamped and coloured the string of lights from the Halloween Party stamp set. This stamp is perfect for year round cards. I’d recommend die cutting first and then...

Skating Party with Gemma

Today I’m sharing a Christmas card using the new Skating Party set and Skating Pond Scene stand-alone die. The Skating Party stamp set is packed full of adorable critters. This set is perfect for Christmas cards and also winter themed cards. I began by stamping and colouring all the critters, using copics. I used a rainbow of different colours. I then die cut them using the coordinating dies. From some white card, I then die cut the Skating Pond Scene die. This fantastic die cuts all the pieces in one pass, but they are all separate pieces. I love...

Yeti or Not with Gemma

I have a Yeti or Not card to share today, which I had a lot of fun creating. I started the card by working on the background. I die cut a stitched rectangle window from a piece of white card. I’ll keep the positive die cut to use on this card later. I left a larger space at the bottom edge, so I could stamp a sentiment from the Yeti or Not stamp set. On the card base, I added a blend of distress oxides inks to create a wintery sky. I used Squeezed Lemonade, Spun Sugar and Shaded...
