Boo Crew with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here with you today sharing a spooky cute Halloween card made with the Boo Crew stamps. The kids in their little costumes and the puppy are just adorable! I started off with a white A2 card base and cut down another piece of Neenah Smooth Solar White 110lb cardstock to the same size. I did some ink blending with Distress Oxides covering about the half of the panel and letting it fade into white. I used Milled Lavender, Wilted Violet and a bit of Black Soot applying it slightly at an angle. I let it dry...

Next, I stamped the jungle animals, balloon and heart in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut them out with their coordinating dies. The large ‘YOU’ is part of the Make Me Smile Words Die and I cut it from patterned paper...

Singing in the Rain with Anja

It totally fits our current weather because we’ve had a lot of rain lately.   For a change, I created a background with Watercolors. I did an intense wash of Prussian Blue at the top and let it fade towards the bottom where I finished off with Cobalt Green. I think the texture of the paper adds a bit of interest. Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut out...

Diamond Daze Background with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a fun card with one of the brand new March Release background stamps. There are seven new background designs and all twelve of the existing cling-rubber stamps were re-released in clear. Everything is available for purchase in the shop right now! On my birthday card, I used the Diamond Daze backgound and did the Emboss Resist technique by heat embossing the stamp first and then ink blending over it. I stamped the background in VersaMark Ink onto a piece of heavyweight white cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder....
