Gather Together with Anja

Hello everyone, Anja here with a fall-themed card using some adorable woodland critters. First, I stamped the new Old Oak Background in brown ink onto kraft cardstock. I used a circle die to cut out a window. For a little more interest, it is out of centre and cropped off at the right edge. I also stamped the Country Gingham Background in a light mint green and adhered it behind the circle window. To create a hill, I used the Hill and Dale Die on a piece of dotted paper. I popped up the woodgrain panel with foam tape....

Big Birthday Wishes with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a birthday card featuring the new Simply Squared Background Stamp. First, I created an ink blended background with Distress Oxide Inks (Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose, Scattered Straw, Cracked Pistachio and Peacock Feathers). These colors remind me of yummy ice cream and almost look like a pastel rainbow. When everything was completely dry, I stamped the background stamp with VersaMark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. It’s subtle but adds a pretty and shiny detail. I love how well the Hello Bluebird designs work together – you can simply...

Seaside Girls with Anja

Hi there, Anja here today sharing a beach scene card made with the wonderful Seaside Girls Stamps. I did an ink blended background using Distress Oxide Inks. At first, I masked off the bottom part of a piece of Bristol cardstock and blended together Worn Lipstick, Tattered Rose and Scattered Straw. Next, I masked off the sunset sky and created the water (Salty Ocean, Mermaid Lagoon and Tumbled Glass) and sand (Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap). I left a white gap inbetween and added water droplets to the ocean and ink splatters to the sand. The beautiful sentiment is...

Wild About You with Anja

Happy Friday, Anja here today sharing a card made with one of the very first stamps I’ve purchased when I discovered Hello Bluebird 😉 I adore this cute lion from the Jungle Littles set. I also stamped the leaves from the Portrait Pals set and colored all images with Copics. I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For the background, I chose a patterned paper with pretty greenery – some of the ferns are even gold foiled. I cut out a round window with a circle die and backed it with cardstock. I stamped the sentiment on...

Up, Up and Away with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here with little Mr. Mouse flying up in the sky with his balloon. I love to mix and match my stamp sets like I did on this card. I combined the Fly A Kite (mouse, tie bow, balloon string) and Greetings Bear (balloon, hat) stamps. The images were colored with Copic markers and I used the coordinating dies to cut them out. For some extra shine, I covered the balloon with Glossy Accents. To create the sky background, I die cut the cloud borders from the After The Rain Scene Die and Sunshine Scene Die. I...
