Just sitting here with Anja

Happy Monday! Anja here today with a little Spring scene in soft colors. On my CAS (Clean And Simple) card, I combined the adorable Field Mice Stamps (mouse, dandelion, flower and grass) with the Strawberry Jam Stamps (caterpillar and flower trio). The butterfly is included in the Springtime set. For the background, I did some masked ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks. Inside the negative space of the circle mask, I blended together Worn Lipstick, Dried Marigold, Bundled Sage and Evergreen Bough. Did you know you can stamp with Distress Oxides, too? I did the grass images and sentiment...

In The Meadow Birthday with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here today with a floral birthday card. I’m looking forward to spring – so I picked some bright and happy colors for my emboss resist background. I stamped the In the Meadow Background in VersaMark ink on a piece of Distress Watercolor Cardstock and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I wet the surface and sprinkled on some Nuvo Shimmer Powders (Solar Flare, Atlantis Burst and Blue Blitz). I heavily spritzed the background with water to move the pigments around. In between the layers I dried it with my heat gun. I repeated the process...

Let’s celebrate in the woods with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here today with a fun birthday party in the woods. I created a scene using several Stand-Alone Dies and Distress Oxide Inks. First, I die cut the tree frame from brown cardstock with the Winter Woods Overlay Die. The bushes are from the Pond Builder Die set and I used Mowed Lawn, Lucky Clover and Pine Needles to color them. The greenery of the trees was made out of cloud borders using the After The Rain Scene Die and Sunshine Scene Die. I cut them from green cardstock and sponged the edges with Twisted Citron and...

New Year’s Eve Treat Box with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here today on the last day of the year (even of the decade) and I’m sharing a treat box with you.   In Germany, we like to hand out little lucky charm gifts on New Year’s Eve. Sweet treats like a marzipan pig are very common and I created a customized box for it. Of course, I had to use one of the Merry Pigs to decorate it. I colored this cutie with Copics and used the coordinating die to cut it out. I  put a little heart (from the Family Photo set) between the piggie’s claws. I did...

Cocoa Party with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here today with a cozy card featuring the new Cocoa Party set. I love these cute critters in their little winter sweaters. First, I stamped the Buffalo Check Background Stamp in VersaFine Onyx Black ink on red cardstock to create a typical plaid pattern. Next, I colored the images with my Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out. I white heat embossed the sentiment on a piece of Kraft cardstock and added three white die-cut hearts around it. I masked off a narrow strip at the bottom and blended on some light...
