Yeti or Not with Anja Bytyqi

Hi everyone, Anja here with a new card featuring the adorable Yeti or Not set. I created a winter scene and used non-traditional colors for my snowy sky. I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral, Candied Apple and Aged Mahogany on Strathmore Bristol Smooth Cardstock. After letting it dry completely, I stamped the Falling Snow Background in VersaMark and white heat embossed it. Glad We’re Friends with Anja Bytyqi

Next, I colored the images with Copic markers and cut them out using the companion dies. I love how you can tuck something (like this honey pot) inbetween the bear’s paws. The sentiment is included in the Farmyard Little Bits stamp set and I white heat...

At first, I stamped the Blowing Leaves Background in Versamark ink and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder. I gently applied Nuvo “Catherine Wheel” Shimmer Powder and sprayed the whole background with water. I love how fast you can create a watercolored look with these powders – not to forget the pretty shimmer they leave. I die cut the scalloped frame (included in the Gallery Frame Die¬†#2 set) from dark brown woodgrain cardstock. I stamped the bunny, pumpkins and leaf...

You Make Me Smile with Anja Bytyqi

Hi there! Anja here with a new inspiration card featuring the fun Hippos on Holiday set. Summer is in full swing – so I wanted to create a little beach scene for my relaxing hippo. For my sunset background, I did some ink blending with Distress Oxide Inks. I used Seedless Preserves, Picked Raspberry, Abandoned Coral and Carved Pumpkin to achieve a warm-toned gradient. When everything was completely dry, I white heat embossed the sentiment from the Rainbow Script set. Next, I blended together the Distress Oxides Antique Linen and Frayed Burlap to build a sandy hill. For some...
