Feed the Birds #2 with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here and I hope you had a great start to the new year! Today I’m back with another card using the sweet Feed the Birds stamps. I just can’t get enough of this cute set! First, I started off with the purple background. I blended together the Distress Oxide Inks Dusty Concord and Milled Lavender, letting the color fade into white at the bottom. Next, I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored them with Copics. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. To complete my little scene, I also stamped, colored...

Feed the Birds with Anja

Hello everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a winter card in rather unusual colors using the adorable Feed the Birds stamps. I wanted to create a dreamy Bokeh background for some time now. I cut everything out with the coordinating dies. For the background I used some Simple Stories Winter Cottage patterned papers to create the look of a cozy living room. I even paper pieced the rug the bear is lying on. Finally, I stamped the sentiment in...

You Warm My Heart with Anja

Hello everyone, Anja here today with you sharing a fall themed card using non traditional colors. I started off with a white A2 card base and stamped the Old Oak Background onto light grey cardstock using VersaMark Ink. I heat embossed it with white embossing powder and cut out a window with a circle die. I trimmed the embossed panel to be a bit smaller than the card base and adhered it with foam tape. I love creating wreaths around a focal point image. This time, I die cut the leaves included in the Gallery Frame #3 Die set...

Happy Fall with Anja

Hi everyone, Anja here and today I’m sharing a fall themed card using the adorable Fall Friends set and the Blowing Leaves Background. I wanted to use the freshly released Distress Oxide Inks Speckled Egg and Crackling Campfire which I think work perfectly for fall. I combined them with Gathered Twigs to create my ink blended background. To finish it off, I added tiny ink splatters with a paint brush. The Blowing Leaves Background was stamped in the same three colors by overlapping the inks on this gorgeous cling stamp. I stamped the images in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink...
