Unicorn Tales with Amy

Hello, hello! Amy here with more background scene die inspiration. This time around I chose to get creative with the Ice Skating Pond Horizontal Scene Die and paired it with one of the sweet unicorns in the Unicorn Tales stamp set. Instead of using the die to create a winter scene or even a pond scene I changed things up and through my coloring, transformed the scene into a sunny spring meadow. I started by using the Ice Skating Horizontal Scene die to cut out an A2 sized sheet of Copic X-Press It card stock. Once I had all...

An Easter twist on Picked For You with Amy

Hello! It’s Amy with you again and after the background die and background stamp mash up that I did last week turned out so well, I just had to try the technique again. This time around I paired the Winter Woods Overlay die with the Country Roads Background stamp for that extra sense of depth and dimension in this spring scene. I also altered the characters from the Picked For You set just a bit to make them work within the Easter egg hunt theme that I was going for on my card. Originally both the little girl and...

Meadow Bunnies with Amy

Hello! Amy here with a card that combines one of the great scene building dies with a background scene stamp. It is no secret that I’m all about stamping and coloring in background scenes for my characters so I figured doing a mash up like this would get me playing with the dies a whole lot more. I figured the birch trees would do a great job of framing the house and...

Bee Happy with Amy

Hello, hello! Amy here again with a card that is a bit different from the ones I usually share. It still features all the things that make up my personal card making style; Copic coloring and stamping and masking the images into scenes. The only difference is that this time I chose to contain all of that to a narrow strip running down the side of the card rather than fill the entire card front. It didn’t take me long to grab the adorable Bee Happy set to be the stars of this card but rather than pairing them...

A Pathway to ducklings with Amy

Hello! It’s Amy once again and today I’ve made a sweet birthday card to share with you. The inspiration for my card today was sparked by the two larger ducks in the Pig Out set. I thought that they would be cute together as Mama and Papa hanging out at the water’s edge. I started to see the scene in my head and realized that they couldn’t be alone, they needed some adorable little ducklings to join them. This was just the excuse I needed to start pulling more stamp sets to mix and match into a complete scene....
