Boo Crew with Amy

Hello, Amy here and today I’m sharing a too cute to spook Halloween card featuring the costumed kiddos from the Boo Crew set. These darling trick or treaters have such a fun retro vibe about them that I couldn’t wait to create a special scene for them to live in. The Country Roads Background stamp is perfect with its little house up on the hill. I did wipe the ink away from the original path before stamping so I could shift it a bit and make the new path work with the direction the kids are walking. In the...

Best Days with Amy

Hello, Amy here and today I’m sharing a fun scene card that captures the current shift in seasons using the new Best Days stamp set. I absolutely adore this cute little gal riding her bicycle and I couldn’t wait to color her into a lovely fall landscape. There is a great sense of movement in this stamp and I thought that the new Nesting Mini Slimline dies would give me just enough length to really take advantage of that. The running dogs included in the set also lend themselves to that illusion of forward motion so I did some...

Fishin’ Hole with Amy

Hello, Amy here and today I’m sharing a cute summer scene card using the classic Fishin’ Hole stamp set. The twist comes by pairing this happy little fisherman with one of the newest background scene stamps called, Country Roads. You might be asking, where is that country road? Well, I turned it into a rushing stream full of fish and it was as simple as grabbing blue Copic markers rather than brown to color it in. A few fish, stamped in a light grey ink, also help transform the road into the perfect fishin’ hole for our little friend...

Flying High with Amy

Hello, Amy here and I’m sharing a slimline card that I’ve made using a mash-up of several new and older Hello Bluebird stamp sets. Even though I was pulling stamps from so many different sets, it was the new Flying High set that inspired the entire scene. The cute groups of animals made to hang out of a hot air balloon basket also work great in a number of different environments. A couple of weeks ago I made a card using just the elephants peeking over a wall, this time around I wanted to tackle an idea that was...

Pig Out with Amy

Hello, Amy here and I’ve got another sweet scene card using new stamps and dies from the May release that just hit the store. This time around I grabbed the Summer Woods scene die to draw inspiration from. With its long slimline profile there are so many different scenarios that it can accommodate. I finally decided that this trio of friends from the Pig Out stamp set would be perfect strolling through the Summer Woods. Once I knew where this card was going I cut the background die out of the white card stock that I use for coloring...
