Hello friends! I’m back on the blog to share some more inspiration using the Sun, Sand and Surf Kit. Both the Classic and Expanded Kits are sold out, but it’s always fun to see more ideas using our new kits, right??
Here’s the products I used to create my card:
Beach Bums Stamp Set
Beach Bums Companion Dies
To begin, I stamped the images from the Beach Bums stamp set, colored with Copic markers, then die cut with the companion dies. Next, using the Ocean Overlay Die, I die cut white cardstock and placed it on top of of Bristol smooth cardstock I ink blended with a combination of Speckled Egg, Salvaged Patina, Peacock Feathers, and Mermaid Lagoon Distress Oxide inks. I then added a white frame cut using the Gallery Frame #7 Die, attaching it with foam tape for dimension.
Next, I die cut the word ‘SUMMER’ from colored cardstock using the Charlie Alpha Die. I die cut it again using white cardstock, layering them slightly offset, then attached to the top center of my card. I stamped the sentiment from Beach Bums in black ink onto a white sentiment strip and attached it using foam tape, then arranged the critters, also adhering with foam tape for dimension to complete my card!
