Hello crafty friends!

Today it’s my turn over the Hello Bluebird blog and I have berry sweet inspiration to show you.

I really lobe strawberries and since I have been eating a lot lately, I couldn’t resist to make a “seasonal” card with them. I decided to pair a lot of different stamps together to create my scene.

I firstly stamped the protagonists I needed on some Neenah Solar white cardstock: the couple of mice and the strawberries comes from the Strawberry Patch Stamp, the mushroom from the Blooming Happy Stamp, the upper mouse from Sweet Strawberries Stamp. I then colored them all with the Copics listed below and I die cut all of them with coordinating dies.

  • Mice: W5 – W4 – E43 – W2 – E41 – W1 | E11 – E000 | R20
  • Mushroom top: RV69 – R39 – RV29 – RV25 – RV23 – R21
  • Mushroom stem: E44 – E43 – E42 – E70 – E50
  • Strawberries: RV29 – RV23 – R21 – YG00 | G99 – G94

I then moved into the rest of the card, which I wanted to keep simple. I decided to stamp with a light grey ink the Country Roads Background, to help setting the scene I had in mind. I also die cut the word Sweet from the Sweet Friends Words Die. I used the second largest Nesting Deckle A2 Die to cut the scene and I arranged everything as I wanted. I glued down the word sweet and I completed the sentiment using two different ones included in the Strawberry Patch Stamp.

To complete the card, I decided to matt it with a patterned paper I had in my stash, which reminds me of a tablecloth. But you can also make something similar using the Country Gingham Background Stamp.

nd here’s the finished result!

Thanks for stopping by, I really hope you will like the  inspiration!

Hugs from Italy,
