Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a sweet little scene just in time for Easter. One of my favorite children’s stories is a German picture book called Die Häsenschule (The Bunny School) where little rabbits go to learn good manners, how to identify plants, and of course, how to paint Easter eggs! Ever since discovering that story when my boys were small, I have loved imagining all the training that must go on behind the scenes in order go grow up and someday become an Easter bunny. So for today’s card, I decided to depict three bunnies in training, featuring our adorable Little Painters stamp set.

Even though there are several other adorable critters in this stamp set, I decided to focus on the bunnies to tell that story in my head. I stamped them out, colored them with Copic markers, and trimmed them out with the matching Little Painters dies. I chose the color palette from some pastel plaid patterned paper that fit the Easter theme. Then I watercolored a simple background on some Bristol cardstock with Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink and stamped a sentiment from Rainbow Script at the top right corner. I trimmed the patterned paper out with the Gallery Frame #4 and popped it up over top, then adhered my images with a mix of liquid glue and foam tape.

To finish up this card, I added a few enamel dots, which remind me of candy, and a bit of Stardust Stickles for some sparkle and shine. I also did some stamping on the inside, which you can check out in the video tutorial. Wishing you all a happy and blessed Easter!

Hugs,
