Hi, it’s Nicky back with you today on the Hello Bluebird blog and I am revisiting the adorable Fairy Dance stamp set with my latest project.  Please read on for all the details.

Fairy Dance

Fairy Dance Dies

Gallery Frame #2 Die

As I usually do, I started in the back of the card.  I used two patterned cardstock designs from the Moda Scrap ‘Dream Big Little One’ paper pack.  I sized this card for an A6 envelope and die cut one panel to the max size, another patterned panel 1/4 inch smaller and then over this I layered a white frame die cut using the Gallery Frame #2 die.  I applied the frame with foam tape.  The smaller/lower negative cut from the frame was ink blended with green inks and I stamped the sentiment and then glued it within the frame.

The images from Fairy Garden were stamped with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa.  I coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-

Skin – E33, E11, E21, E00

Hair – E79, E59, E57, E55

Pink – R22, R20, R00

Green – YG95, YG93, YG91

Yellow – E21, E51, E50

Insects – W4, W2, W0, R00, R000

All Wings – BG90 BG70

I used a glittering gelly roll pen to add ‘threads’ of pale gold to the fairy’s hair and to the wings of the insects and fairies.  Doesn’t photograph but it is a pretty addition for the recipient as it catches the light.

Images were added to the background with foam tape, I applied some gold star embellishments and I highlighted one or two points with a white gel pen and with that, this card was complete.

Thank you for stopping by the blog today and I will be back soon with something new to share.
