Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here and I’m all in for the spring vibes! My clean and simple card today features 3 baby squirrels from Word Buddies Woodland hanging around some mushrooms from Bloomin Happy. The butterfly and sentiment are also from Bloomin Happy and the little snail is from Vegetable Garden.

I started with stamping my images using black ink and coloring them with a mix of Copics(C) and Ohuhus.

Squirel brown: E220, YR220, Y9, BR2

Squirel/mushroom white: YG040

Mushroom red: R6, R4, R1, R8, R7

Butterfly/flower teal: BG13(C), BG10(C), BG6

Butterfly/flower yellow: Y3

Butterfly/snail body: E43(C), E41(C)

Snail shell: BG13(C), BG10(C), GY4

Pink cheeks: R12, RV260

The images were then cut out using the coordinating Word Buddies Woodland Dies, Bloomin Happy Dies, and Vegetable Garden Die.

Next I laid out my images on the card and glued any overlapping pieces together. I added some foam tape to all my pieces so when I adhered them later they would have some dimension.

For the background I used a light layer of Concord & 9th ink in Sprout to ground my images in grass, then added some texture using splatter from a mix of Sprout and Parsley green inks.

I stamped the sentiment near the bottom below the grass then used a simple stitched die to cut out the background panel.

To assemble the card I adhered the images to my background and the background to my card base using foam tape. Lastly, I added some highlight using a white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like how my card turned out!
