Hello crafty friends! It’s Leanne here with you today. I love a good play on words and I came across a fun one. I’m calling it advice from a bunny…. keep calm and carrot on! I just had to use this on a card and create a little scene to go with.

Below is a list of all the Hello Bluebird stamps and dies used to create this card:

This fun card design started with a pale peach inked background. The peach color is Tattered Rose Distress Oxide ink. For the sentiment “keep calm & carrot on”, I knew I wanted it to be bold and take up two thirds of the scene. I used a combination of two sizes of alpha dies (which are listed above) to die cut all the letters I needed to spell out the sentiment.

Next I created my simple little bunny and carrot scene. I tucked the carrots and bunny in between the grass and dirt layers so they look like they are peeking out of the ground. I just love how happy that bunny is with his carrot. I Copic colored the bunny and carrots with the following colors: YR12, YR18, YG11, YG13, N1, N2, R00, R20.

I trimmed down the scene panel to be slightly smaller then A2 size and adhered to the aqua blue card stock that is exactly A2 size. It’s all glued flat to a white card base. Since this design is fairly flat, it can be easily mailed and would be perfect to send to a friend in need of cheering up.
