Hello friends this is Nicky with you today on the Hello Bluebird blog and I’m looking ahead to Easter with this new card featuring the much loved Easter Egg Hunt stamp set.  Please read on for all the details.

Here are the products that I’ve used to create this card:-

Easter Egg Hunt

Easter Egg Hunt Die

Spring Banner Script

Nesting Oval Die

I started by creating a patterned background panel using cardstock and a die from my stash.  The panel was backed with white craft foam and applied to a white A2 panel then to a card base.

I die cut two ovals using the Nesting Ovals Die.  The larger oval was made with heavyweight vellum and the smaller with sturdy white cardstock.  I ink blended a soft appearance of sky and grass using inks from The Stamp Market in Sea Glass and Gumdrop.  I splattered the ink blend with water droplets and blotted them up and glued the ovals together.  I popped it in my Misti and stamped the sentiment from Spring Banner Script using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and adhered to the background.

I stamped the images from Easter Egg Hunt again using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and I coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Bunnies – C3, C1, C0, C00

Blushes – R21 R20, R00, R000

Tree Stump – E44, E31, E41

Egg and Flowers – RV14, RV13, R32

Unpainted Egg – C1, C0, C00, R000

Green – YG13, YG17

Butterflies – E44, B91, B93

Images were highlighted with a white gel pen and then die cut with the coordinating dies and applied to the background inking with dimensional foam tape.

Thank you for stopping by today and I hope you can carve out some crafting time soon!
