Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here sharing a snarky little birthday card using the most adorable piggies from Pig Day Stamp

I started with stamping my images using black ink and coloring them with a mix of Copics(C) and Ohuhus.

Pig pinks: E04(C), E470, E030, E010

Pink cheeks: R21, E030

Gray hooves: CG050, CG030, CG020

Purple: V330, V030, V150, P4

Blue: B000(C), BG4, PB1, PB2

White: CGII00

Yellow: Y3

Green: G110, G140

The images were then cut out using the coordinating Pig Day Die

Next I stamped out a couple of the sentiments from the set and used a die from Word Bubbles Die to cut them out. I ended up using the same die to cut out both sentiments because I couldn’t find one that fit the smaller sentiment nicely, but found that trimming the larger die down a tad could give me the exact fit I was looking for.

To create the background I first masked off a horizontal section and ink blended some “mud” using Wheat from Concord & 9th. Then I ink blended from the top using Peacock Feathers, Tumbled Glass, and Cracked Pistachio distress oxides. I also used water to lift some spots from the ink blended pieces and added some splatter back using coordinating colors and white paint to create some more interest.

Next I added a wide border from the Gallery Frame #1 Die and propped it up using foam tape. The images were then propped up using foam tape as well and for final touches I added a little bit of highlight using a white gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like how my card turned out!
