Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a fun Valentine’s Day card combining three of our adorable stamp sets: Portrait Pals, Word Buddies Jungle, and Jungle Littles. I thought the bigger koala from Portrait Pals would make a perfect mama for the one of the little koalas from Word Buddies Jungle. Don’t they just work so beautifully together? And I love how I could rearrange the mama’s paws so it looks like she’s really holding onto her baby. So sweet! And of course, I needed lots of leaves to set the scene, plus a few flowers for a pop of pink, so that’s where the Jungle Littles set came in. I colored all the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies.

Next, to create the background, I did a quick watercolor wash using Kitsch Flamingo, Twisted Citron, and Lucky Clover Distress Oxide Inks. I die cut the Gallery Frame #2 from some patterned paper and popped that up over top with foam tape. Then I arranged my images on the top half using a mixture of foam tape and liquid glue. For the sentiment, I used the Jane Small Alpha dies to spell out the word “koala-ty” in hot pink cardstock, trimming an I in half to create the hyphen. The rest of the sentiment I stamped from Strawberry Jam. To finish off the card, I added a couple clear sequins and a bit of Stardust Stickles for some sparkle.

I always like to do a little extra stamping on the inside of my cards, so for this one I brought in one more set, our Little Hugs. If you’d like to see that, you can check it out in the video tutorial, which you can watch by clicking the thumbnail below or find HERE on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. This is also Day 9 of my 2024 Valentine Card Series, so feel free to check out the other videos in this series if you’ve missed any. I really hope you enjoy this one! I’m so happy with how bright and cheerful it turned out. Thanks so much for visiting!

Crafty hugs,
Christy
