Hi everyone! I’m revisiting one of my favorite Hello Bluebird stand alone dies…. Big Paper Hugs. This die could really be put in the cover plate category because it’s so big and covers an entire A2 card front. That’s how I’m using it for today’s card. I simply die cut the Big Paper Hugs from an A2 sized panel of Concord & 9th Briar Rose card stock. I then adhered the panel directly to a white card base.
Now of course I needed some cute hugging critters to include on my card, so I have used the hedgehogs from Little Hugs. There are several hugging pairs to choose from in this set but the hedgehogs worked well for what I wanted to do, placing them over the letter b.
Next I wanted to add some little flowers and bees in a row at the bottom of the card just under the word hugs. The bees, yellow flowers, and stamped sentiment are from the Bear Family set. The pink flowers are from Big Hugs Woodland.
Here’s a list of the Copics I used to color the stamped images:
- browns – E70, E71, E74, E41, E42
- yellows – Y11, Y15
- pinks – R81, R83
- greens – G40, G43
