Welcome to the Hello Bluebird blog, this is Nicky with you today and I’m sharing a new Christmas card design I’ve created using a stamp set from the Christmas release.  Please read on for all the details.

Here are the products used:-

Holiday Office Party Die

Gallery Frame #7

These Holiday Littles may be small but this is a nice, large 5 3/4 inch square card and I started by preparing my layers.   The largest panel was created using patterned cardstock by Moda Scrap.  Then a smaller panel of white cardstock was glue to that.  I then die cut using the Gallery Frame #7 Die twice.  Once from white cardstock and another time from a toning patterned cardstock by Moda Scrap.  I added the frame with dimensional tape and the inner frame was glued directly within it.  I took the negative cuts and ink blended each one using ink from the Stamp Market – this pretty green hue is called ‘Matcha’ and I splashed the mini panels with white acrylic paint before glueing them back into the spaces.

I used the Matcha ink once more to stamp the mini fir trees multiple times which I then die cut and glued directly to the ink blended backgrounds.

I stamped the Holiday Littles I was using from the stamp set using Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and I coloured with the following Copic markers:-

Reindeer – E44, E43, E42, E41

Yeti – E04, E11, E21, E41, T1

Penguins – W5, W4, W3, C3, C1, C00

Santa – E04, E11, E21, R83, E04, E11, T5, T4

Gingerbread Man – E33, E31, E41, YG67, YG45

Snowman – C3, C1, C00, YG67, YG45, R83, E04, E11

Blushes – R22, R20, R00

Images were die cut, highlighted with a white gel pen and adhered in each little window using dimensional foam tape.

The finishing touch was of course the sentiment banner which was taken from the Holiday Office Party stamp an die set and similarly applied with foam tape behind it.

I hope you enjoyed and were inspired by my card!  If you have any comments or questions please let me know by commenting underneath this post.  Thanks!
