Hi everyone! I have a super fun project to share today… Candy Cane shaped tags! I have used the Candy Cane Lane die set along with the Holiday Littles stamp set to create these festive tags. I’ll be sharing some process photos so you an see how easy these are to make.
We start by die cutting a candy cane tag base. As seen in the photo below, you place the solid candy cane shape die slightly off the top edge of a folded piece of card stock. Secure with low tack tape and die cut as you normally would.
Next stamp “to & from” inside the tag. I have used the ones included in the Holiday Littles set.
To finish add the red and white candy cane layers to the tag base. You could use any colors for these of course. Make them to coordinate with your wrapping paper. Punch a hole at the top through all the layers of the tag and tie on some twine. Then embellish the tags as you’d like. For mine I added a small circle tag with the number 25 and a Copic colored Holiday Littles character.
Here’s a linked list of all the Hello Bluebird supplies I used to create these tags:
- Candy Cane Lane die set – candy cane layers and holly leaf
- Holiday Littles stamp and coordinating die set – Christmas character images
- Nesting Circle dies – small circle tag
- Charlies Numbers die set
