Hello friends, this is Nicky with you today on the Hello Bluebird blog. So happy you came by to read about my latest card using HB products including some from the most recent Christmas release. Please read on for all the details.
Here’s what I’ve used to make this card:-
I started by stamping and colouring some of my favourite Hello Bluebird penguins. I stamped with Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa and coloured with the following Copic markers.
Penguins – T6, T5, T4, C3, C1, C0, R000, YR07
Blushes – R22, R21, R20, R00
I highlighted with a white gel pen and die cut and set them aside whilst I built the background.
To create the background I first created the frame using the Rainbow Square Die and white cardstock. I backed the frame with dimensional foam tape and then adhered a background panel created by ink blending a square of cardstock with Tumbled Glass Distress Oxide and attached to that two hills created using the Hill & Dale Die and blended with a little Princess Pink ink by MFT.
I then used the Candy Cane Lane Die to create to pastel candy canes which I backed with foam tape and applied. I now knew where to place my sweet little penguins so I attached them again with foam tape and I die cut and applied some Frosty Flakes and I stamped the sentiment to a sentiment strip created from the Stitched tag Builder Die.
Hope you like my card and feel inspired!
