Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here today and I am back sharing a clean and simple Christmas card. Santa’s little reindeer have a new recruit and it’s not quite what Santa was expecting! I created this cute little scene using the new Holiday Little Stamp set paired with a sentiment from Cup of Cheer Stamp.

I started with stamping the images using black ink and coloring them using a mix of Copics(C) and Ohuhus.

Reindeer: YR9, Y145, YR6, YR212, E42-41(C)

Reindeer antlers: YR9, YR148

Purple: BV04(C), BV02(C), B60(C)

Whites: B220

Blue: B259, B220

Skin: E00-000(C)

Santa red: R59(C), R24(C), R21

Gray beard: N1(C), B220

Pink cheeks: R12, RV260

The images were then cut out using the coordinating Holiday Littles Die. I decided where in the card they would go on an A2 card and trimmed some card stock to frame the scene above and below so they would appear in a little window.

I ink-blended the background of the window using Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers, and Broken China distress oxides from the top down and faded to white “snow.” I also used water to lift some spots from the ink blend and added some “splatter” back in using a white gel pen.

Next I took the sentiment from the Cup of Cheer Stamp set and stamped it near the top of the bottom panel in black ink. I added the slightest bit of splatter to both top and bottom panels using Cracked Pistachio distress oxide for interest.

Finally I propped up the top and bottom panels using foam tape, then propped up the images as well. For final touches I added some white highlights to the images using a gel pen.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like how my card turned out!
