Hello friends! With the holidays quickly approaching, Hello Bluebird’s new release is perfect for creating the most adorable Christmas cards! My card showcases Christmas Eve, an iconic set featuring Santa and his reindeer.

To begin, I stamped the images from Christmas Eve, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Christmas Eve dies. Next, I cut Bristol smooth cardstock using the Tall Trees Scene Die. I inked the trees with Antique Linen and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks, then added some white stencil paste onto the sides of the trees to resemble snow. I cut another piece of Bristol cardstock at 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ and blended Stormy Sky, Chipped Sapphire, and Black Soot Distress Oxide inks to create a night time sky. I splattered both the background and stamped images with white acrylic paint, thinned with water, to look like fallen snow,

I adhered the frame, trees, and snow drifts to the inked background, then attached Santa and the reindeer using foam tape. Next, I die cut some snowflakes from white cardstock using the Frosty Flakes Die. I then white heat embossed a black cardstock strip with a sentiment from the Christmas Eve stamp set, and attached to my card with foam tape.

Lastly, I die cut a red bow and some sprigs to the top of my card using the new Candy Cane Lane Dies. Before attaching the pine sprigs, I lightly splattered them with some white acrylic paint for a snowy effect. I adhered my card front to a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ white card base to complete my card.

Thanks for stopping by! See you next time!
