Hello friends! With the weather finally cooling off, Fall is in the air, inspiring me to create a fun seasonal card!
To begin, I stamped the images from the Peek-A-Boo Stamp Set, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Next, I die cut Bristol smooth cardstock using the Autumn Acorn Die. I ink blended the acorns with Tea Dye, Brushed Corduroy, and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks. The leaves were inked with Tea Dye, Rusty Hinge, Peeled Paint, and Vintage Photo Distress Oxide inks. I splattered some Vintage Photo ink, thinned with water, then some thinned white acrylic paint onto the leaves and acorns to create some interest and texture.
I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ and blended the background with Peeled Paint and Shabby Shutters Distress Oxide inks, fading into white. I then splattered the background with Peeled Paint ink, let dry, then added a white scalloped frame die cut using the Gallery Frame #5 Die. Next, I die cut a punny sentiment from chocolate brown and white cardstock, using the Charlie Alpha Die. I layered the brown letters onto the white, just slightly offset, and attached them to the card. I stamped the sentiment ‘For You’ from the Picked For You Stamp set in dark brown ink onto a white sentiment strip and attached it with foam tape.
Lastly, I arranged the die cut and stamped images onto my card, attaching with foam tape for dimension. I mounted my card front onto a white slimline card base to complete my card!
