Does anyone else feel like fall is passing by way to fast? How can it be Halloween next week already? I’m trying to savor every last bit of all the autumn things before winter hits. With that said, this is my last fall card share of the year.

This card features the oh so cute Autumn Acorn die set which I’m sorry to say is sold out at the moment. I’m sure it will be restocked as soon as possible since it was so popular. The acorn die cuts a slot so you can slide in a peeking critter. I used the squirrel from the Peek-a-Boo stamp set. The top of the acorn is not attached so you can arrange it slightly open with the animal inside or just use the acorn alone with the top closed.

The leaf die is part of the acorn set and I have die cut it many times from different colors to create a leaf frame. I used one of the Nesting Oval dies to cut out the oval window from a gingham background. Then I just adhered the leaves along that cut edge going all the way around until filled in. I kept it simple and adhered the leaf frame panel onto a white A2 card base. I then added the acorn right in the center of the oval and gave the whole panel a light splattering of black and white paint. To finish, I added the twine bow, the squirrel and stamped a sentiment.
So stinkin’ cute! I haven’t made a card yet with the acorn die, but you’ve inspired me to give it a try today!
Beautiful colours used for this sweet design!
this is adorable!
