Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a fun card using the darling new Peek-A-Boo stamp set. My favorite animal is the red squirrel, so of course, I had to use the squirrel image and have her popping out of our new Autumn Acorn die, which is sized perfectly to fit! Of course the nut needed a branch to hang from, so I pulled one in from Oh Nuts, and added in some extra squirrels for good measure from Word Buddies Woodland. I colored all of the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with their matching dies. And I also colored in the Autumn Acorn with Copics so it would look like the ones I had stamped.

Next I trimmed down a piece of Bristol Cardstock with the Nesting Deckle A2 dies and blended on Distress Oxide Inks, using Saltwater Taffy and Antique Linen in the center, and then splattering with Gathered Twigs and Ground Espresso. For a little gold shine, I also splattered on some Gansai Tambi Starry Colors watercolor paint. I popped this panel up on foam tape over some patterned paper that I had used as the inspiration for my color palette. For my sentiment, I cut the Knightly LC Large Alphas out of dark brown and Kraft cardstock to spell the word “nuts.” Then I used the Jane Small Alphas to die cut the words “for you,” replacing the Os with the acorns I had stamped. I adhered all my images and finished with a trio of clear sequins and a bit of Platinum Stickles.

If you’d like to see how this card came together, including the entire Copic coloring process, I’ve created a video tutorial for you! Just click on the thumbnail below or find it here on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I really hope you enjoy it! For me, this card totally brings the fall vibes, but in such a sweet way, with those darling red squirrels and a lovely color palette. There’s something about pink and orange together that I’ve been majorly crushing this season.

Thank you so much for visiting today! I hope you’re leaving here inspired.

Crafty hugs,
Christy
