Hi friends! It’s Stefanie here today and I am sharing a clean and simple Halloween card featuring the adorable witch and kitty from the Sabrina Stamp set from the latest release.
I started with stamping the images using black ink and coloring them using a mix of Copics(C) and Ohuhus.
Pumpkins: Y010, Y110, Y121, Y120, YR240, Y4, YR3, YR5
Black (kitty and pumpkin face): C5(C), C3(C)
Blonde hair: E43(C), E42(C), E41(C), E40(C)
Light blue: R24, B340, BG3, B00-B000(C)
Dark purple/black: NG09, C5(C), C3(C), BV04(C), BV02(C)
The images were then cut out using the coordinating Sabrina Die.
I used a simple stitched rectangle to cut out a panel for the background that is slightly smaller than an A2 card and after determining where the images would fit, I stamped a cute sentiment from Candy Crew Stamp and ink blended a background using Shaded Lilac distress oxide. I also used water to lift some spots from the ink blend and added some splatter back in using the same color to create some texture.
The images were then adhered using foam tape to give some dimension and for final touches I added some highlights using a white gel pen.
I then adhered my background panel to black cardstock and trimmed it down so I would have a black border. Finally I adhered that to another panel that I created using the Handmade Plaid Background Stamp and Shaded Lilac distress oxide and the card was complete.
