Today I’m sharing a card made with the Strawberry Basket die set and Sweet Friend Words. I decided to make a background pattern with the strawberries.

I die cut the strawberries, leaves and large flowers from some gel plate prints I made a while ago. I used distress oxides to create these. I’ll list the colours I used below.

As the prints were a thinner paper, I adhered each one to a thicker white card die cut, for stability. Behind the strawberries, I added some dark brown card, to show through the holes as seeds.

I adhered the die cuts in a pattern on an A2 card base, leaving space at the top for a sentiment.

For the sentiment, I die cut the Sweet Friend Words die set from white card. I used copic markers to add an ombré of colour, to coordinate with the Strawberry Basket die cuts.

I added extra die cut layers for dimension, then adhered the words to the card to finish.
