Today I’m sharing a card using the adorable new Strawberry Patch stamp set. I used one of my own sketches, which can be found here. This card is based on sketch #009.

I began by stamping out the images from the Strawberry Patch stamp set, then colouring them with copic markers. I then cut them out with the coordinating dies.

Next, I worked on the background. I used some stitched strip dies from my craft stash to cut some strips of patterned paper. I arranged these on my card base, following the sketch.

I stamped a sentiment from the Strawberry Patch stamp set, then adhered the images to my card. I also added a butterfly, from the new Vegetable Garden stamp set.
Sketches are a great starting point when creating a card. If you have a favourite card design of your own, why not turn it into a sketch for inspiring future designs.
