Hi everyone! I thought I’d share one last summery card before summer is over. This card features images from the Bloomin Happy stamp set. It’s currently sold out which I guess means you all really liked it A LOT! Honestly I can totally see why it was so popular. It’s one of those sest where the images do all the work for you…. Just color, place on an inked background, and you have an adorable scene.
I kept this card very simple. Overtop an inked background I placed an A2 size panel with an Oval window. I added the images with foam adhesive, placing some within the oval and some overlapping it. I saved a spot to stamp the sentiment right onto the background. I added a kraft scalloped frame and some clear sequins to finish it off.
Copics used to color all the images are as follows:
- mushroom tops – YR00, YR01, YR02
- mushroom stems – BG90, BG93
- bluebird – B21, B23, B29, R00, R20
- flowers – V12, V15, V17
- squirrel – E31, E33, E35, W1
- butterfly – Y00, Y02, Y15
Oh Leanne, this card is just precious! I love how you created the oval window and used both the inside and outside to set the lovely scene. It really inspires me, and I hope this particular set will be back in stock soon. Goodbye summer, see you next year!
