Vegetable Market with Stefanie

Hi friends this is Stefanie here with you today and I have created a sweet mini slimline using all the bunnies from the Vegetable Market stamp set from Hello Bluebird’s latest release.

I started by stamping out all the bunnies and the carrot from the set. I also added a snail and an extra carrot the new Vegetable Garden stamp set. Then I colored all the images using a mix of Copics(C) and Ohuhus.

Bunnies and snail brown: E42(C), E41(C), E40(C)

Bunny ears: RV180, RV130

Snail shell: BG13(C), G340, GY7

Carrot orange: YR7, YR6

Carrot green: GY4, GY7

Radish red: R24(C), R32(C), R30(C)

Basket brown: E43(C), E42(C)

The images were then cut out using the Vegetable Market Die and the Vegetable Garden Die.

Next I used the Slimline Hill & Dale Die to cut out the 2 garden beds and trimmed them down to be slightly smaller than mini slimline. I used Concord & 9th’s Wheat ink to give them some color. I blended the top of the hills darker and lightly faded them to white.

For the background I used Aqua Sky from Concord & 9th and blended from the bottom up. This panel was also trimmed down to be ¼ inch smaller than a standard mini slimline.

After ink blending both the ground and sky, I lifted some spots using water droplets and added some splatter back in coordinating colors and a white gel pen to create some texture.

The cute sentiment is from Vegetable Garden, I stamped it in black ink in the corner of my background.

I adhered one of the garden beds directly on the card and propped up the other on top using foam tape. Then I propped up all the other images as well, except for one carrot and the snail, which I adhered directly using liquid glue. And then I propped this panel up on top of a white mini slimline card base.

For final touches, I added some white highlights to the images and the card was finished! Thanks for stopping by and I hope you like my card!
