Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a card using the brand new Bloomin Happy stamp set. Oh my goodness, I just adore these critters so much! They are so joyful! I love their little expressions. I colored the images with Copic markers, cleaned up the white mushroom spots with a gel pen, and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
I did a simple watercolor wash for the background using Distress Oxide Inks on Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock. I combined Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn for the grass, and Broken China and Faded Jeans for the sky. I let that dry and then stamped a sentiment in black ink at the top right. Then I die cut the Gallery Frame #3 out of red cardstock and popped up the outer frame with foam tape.
I adhered my images with a mix of foam tape and liquid glue. Then I added a bit of Stardust Stickles to the mushroom dots, flowers, and butterfly wings. I also stamped an additional image and sentiment on the inside, which you can check out in the video tutorial. Crafty hugs,
