Hello! This is Nicky with you today and I’m sharing a new card created with the new Vegetable Market stamp set which formed part of the new release which went live earlier this month. Read on for all the details for how I made this card.
Here are the products used in the making of this card:-
Vegetable Market
Vegetable Market Die
To kick things off I first used Salvaged Patina Distress Oxide Ink to ink blend the sky, softly fading to a centre focal point. I then created two grassy borders using the Grassy Knoll Die and Distress Oxide Inks in Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn and then distressed by spritzing with water mixed with white acrylic paint. The taller grass piece was directly glued to the background and the smaller piece applied with foam tape.
I used my favourite Memento Ink in Rich Cocoa to stamp the images from Vegetable Market and then I coloured with the following Copic marker combinations:-
Fox – E35, E53, E21, C3, C1, C0
Bunny (left) – E50, E40, C3, C1, C0, C00
Bunny (middle) – C3, C1, C0, C00
Bunny (right) – TT4, T3, T1, E31, E41, E40
Blushes – R22, R20, R00
Carrots – YR09, YR04, Y38
Red Onion – V95, V93, V91
Lettuce (all greenery) YG17, YG06, G40
Radish – RV17, RV06, RV21
Butterfly – B04, B41, E43
Clouds – BG0000, C3, C1
I highlighted using a white gel pen then die cut using the coordinating dies, decided on a layout and applied with a single or double layer of dimensional foam tape.
Vegetable Market has several punny sentiments included with it and so I chose mine, stamping it on a sentiment strip and then adhering with more foam tape.
I appreciate you stopping by today and if you have any questions or comments please don’t hesitate to add them in the comments section below this post and I’ll happily respond.
Stay crafty!
Nicky
