Hey friends, it’s Christy here with my first card using the adorable new Jungle King stamp set. I say first, because I am absolutely in love with these little lions and I’m sure I’ll be making many more cards featuring them in the future! I colored the images with Copic markers and trimmed them out with the matching dies.
For the background I took one of our Nesting Deckle A2 dies and cut down a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock. Then I did a simple watercolor wash using Distress Oxide Inks in Antique Linen, Bundled Sage, and Rustic Wilderness. Then I splattered Gathered Twigs and also some metallic gold watercolor. Once that was dry, I stamped my sentiment in the top right corner.
Then I took a piece of patterned paper and glued that to cover my card base, and popped my focal panel up in the center with foam tape. I added my images with liquid glue. I also finished off the inside with some additional stamping, which you can check out in the video tutorial!
