Sweet Strawberries is a simple layering stamp set that makes it easy to create many different sized strawberries plus the leaves and little flowers. I stamped out quite a few of these images and made a collage style card with them.
I really love the simplicity and whimsical style of these strawberry images. They go perfectly with the cute little mice in the set.
To begin this card I started with an A2 sized panel of white card stock. I used Saltwater Taffy Distress Oxide ink and a blending brush to color the entire panel. I then splattered the panel with water, dried it, and then splattered again with light green ink.
Once I had all the images stamped out, I began playing around with placement. I wanted the strawberries, leaves, and flowers to wrap around the entire panel along the outside edges with some overhang to be trimmed off. I then added the greeting right in the center of the panel. The Just For You die cut is also new this month.
Lastly, I added the Copic colored mice and caterpillar into the collage with little foam adhesive squares so they would be popped up a bit. My go to Copic colors for grey mice are as follows: W0, W1, W3, & W4 with R00 & R20 for rosy cheeks and ears. For the caterpillar I used YG01 & YG13
