I love a typographic greetings card. Hello Bluebird have lots of fabulous alpha die sets to choose from when creating your own sentiment.

I selected the Charlie Large Outline Alpha and the Charlie Alpha die sets to create my birthday greeting. These are the same font, just in different sizes and with the addition of an outline on the larger set.

I die cut the letters several times from white card stock and adhered them together to get a stacked look. I also die cut the letters from yellow and orange card stock, for pops of colour.

Next, I die cut two Party Balloons, in the same orange and yellow card, with white card strings and highlights. These balloons will replace the ‘O’s in the word ‘Hooray’.

On my card base, I adhered a piece of patterned paper. This is from a 12×12 paper pack I found at The Works – a chain of stores we have here in the UK.

I arranged my letters, adhering with liquid glue. The orange balloon has some foam tape behind for added dimension.
