Hello friends! I’m excited to be back on the blog sharing this fun birthday card! I absolutely love making the sentiment the star; it makes for a unique, custom card that is easy to create!

To begin, I stamped the images from Carried Away, colored with Copic markers, and die cut with the Carried Away Dies.

Next, I cut and A2 panel of patterned paper and attached it to a white A2 card base. I then cut a panel of white cardstock a bit thinner than the striped paper and adhered it to my card. Using the Happy Birthday Words Die, I die cut the word ‘Happy’ four times from colored cardstock that coordinated with the patterned paper, and attached it to the front of my card. I die cut the ‘birthday’ from black cardstock and adhered it along the bottom at an angle, slightly overlapping the ‘Happy’.

Next, I attached the stamped images to my card, using foam tape for dimension. Lastly, I added a few clear sequins to add a little bit of sparkle and interest to complete my card.
Thanks so much for stopping by! See you next time!
Hugs!
