Hello friends! With Spring quickly approaching, I was inspired to create a fun and bright card, featuring Spring blooms, sweet strawberries and bees buzzing. While we don’t get much of a Spring here in the desert, I am certainly looking forward to warmer days ahead!

To begin, I stamped, colored with Copic markers, and die cut the images from the following sets:
Strawberry Jam/ Strawberry Jam Die
Next, I cut a piece of Bristol smooth cardstock to 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ and ink blended it with Dusty Concord, Worn Lipstick, and Squeezed Lemonade Distress Oxide inks. I splattered water onto the background, then white acrylic paint, thinned with water. Once dry, I splattered some Dusty Concord and Worn Lipstick onto the background to add more interest.

Next, I die cut a white frame using the Gallery Frame #5 Die and attached it to the background to give some nice contrast to the bold background. I then arranged the stamped images onto the card, attaching some with foam tape for dimension.

Lastly, I white heat embossed the sentiment from Bee Happy onto a black cardstock strip and tucked it under the white frame. To complete my card, I attached my finished card front to a 3 1/2 X 8 1/2″ white card base.
Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope my Spring card inspired you to create something for the season!
Hugs,
Tammy
