Hey friends, it’s Christy here with a sweet card using the adorable Tree Neighbors. This set is definitely one of my top favorites. I just love all the woodland critters and that beautiful tall tree. I wanted to turn this one into a birthday celebration, so I also pulled in accessory images from Party on the Farm and Cake Time. All the images were tamped in black ink, colored with Copic markers, and trimmed out with the matching dies. Since the tree is actually designed for use on a slimline card, I simply stamped the top two thirds of it, so that I could alter it for a standard A2 sized card.

I created the background from a piece of Bristol Smooth Surface Cardstock, blending on Broken China Distress Oxide Ink with a cloud stencil. For the ground, I die cut another piece of Bristol with Grassy Knoll and blended on Twisted Citron and Mowed Lawn. I popped the tree up on the background with foam tape, then used the grass to cover up the bottom hole in the trunk. Viola! You’d never even know it was altered! Down the right hand side of the card, I stamped a sentiment from Birthday Script, then adhered my images to make a cute little party scene. Then I finished it off with some white gel pen details and iridescent heart glitter flakes.

And of course, I created a video tutorial for you, so if you’d like to watch this whole card come together, just click on the thumbnail below. You can also find it over on my YouTube channel, Christy Gets Crafty. I had a lot of fun with this one, and there are so many critters in the Tree Neighbors stamp set, that it would be easy to make a few different versions. I really hope you enjoy the video! Thank you so much for watching!

Sending crafty hugs,
Christy
