Hello Crafty Friends! Marie here back on the blog sharing a super simple friendship card featuring the Easter Egg Hunt Stamp. The images in this stamp set are so adorable and although this set is predominantly Easter themed, there are images that can be used all year round for many different themes and occasions! For today’s card, I used the image of the super cute chick and bunny holding hands. They are having the time of their lives captured in a fun and carefree Polaroid picture!

Starting with the largest die in the Nesting Deckle A2 Die set, I cut out my card base panel from Neenah Solar White 110 lb. heavyweight cardstock. I also die cut some craft paper and adhered that on top of my cardbase before layering on my pattern paper which was cut using the second largest die in the set. I used the Photo Stack Die to cut out the perfectly sized Polaroid Photo. For the outside of my polaroid picture, I used some Vintage Photo distress ink to ink blend the edges giving it a vintage feel. I ink blended the inside of the polaroid using Speckled Egg Distress Oxide Ink and splattered some Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The sweet sentiment on the front of the photo, is from the  Strawberry Jam Stamp Set.

To color my images, I first start by stamping them out onto watercolor paper using Antique Linen Distress ink. I then used Faber- Castell watercolor pencils to color my images. The florals that the critters are holding comes from the Banner Buddies Stamp. After coloring my images, I used the corresponding Easter Egg Hunt Die and the Banner Buddies Die to cut out all my images. After playing around with placement, I adhered the polaroid photo to my card front using double sided tape adhesive. I added some fun dimension to the florals and a few of the butterflies using foam tape.

This card was super fun to color and put together and after working with this stamp set, I can’t wait for Spring and Easter to come sooner than later! I hope you enjoyed this super easy to put together card! Thank you so much for joining me today and until next time, Happy Paper Crafting and card making!
